Nick Ginsburg is a French hornist, pianist, vocalist, and composer living in Los Angeles. They grew up in southern Illinois, where at 10 years old they began their musical studies in a vibrant public school music program. An experienced professional musician and teacher in the above areas, Nick takes a holistic approach to teaching, meeting students where they are and co-crafting a path of study that is challenging yet achievable and rewarding for every student. Their focus on fundamentals and well-rounded musicianship carries well to both beginning and intermediate/advanced students. Carrying training in classical and early music, they also have multiple years experience working with experimental music, musical theater and popular vocal & piano styles.

Nick graduated from the double-degree program at Oberlin College-Conservatory of Music in 2019. He received a B.A. in Environmental Studies & a B.M. in French horn performance, where they was one of the last students of renowned pedagogue Roland Pandolfi. Nick recently graduated from the MFA Performer-Composer program at California Institute of the Arts, studying brass performance, composition, and sound art practice as a Lillian Disney Scholar. Here they also served as a graduate teaching assistant in music theory & aural skills, additionally providing private instrumental and class music instruction in the Santa Clarita Valley school system. Nick currently performs and teaches across Southern California.
