Justin Veira is a classically trained pianist and composer from Miami, Florida. Since beginning to study piano at the age of 9, he has accrued a wealth of experience performing in various genres such as classical, jazz, rock, pop, and reggae. He holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from Boston Conservatory at Berklee, where he studied under Dr. Jonathan Bass. During this time he performed extensively with chamber and orchestral ensembles and premiered compositions by Berklee faculty as well as works of his own.

He has also played musical theater repertoire in pit orchestras and has received top prizes in numerous solo piano and concerto competitions, including first place in the two most prestigious scholarship competitions for pianists at Boston Conservatory in his freshman and sophomore years, respectively. He has a strong passion for music education, having taught piano to students of all ages, and believes in fostering an excitement and curiosity for music by tailoring lessons to students’ individual goals and establishing a strong foundation in music theory and aural training.
