Gracy Wang is a dedicated instructor with a strong foundation in both classical and contemporary music. She began her professional training in Guzheng and Piano at a young age and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Piano Performance from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as a Master of Arts in Music Composition (Film Scoring) from New York University.

Her performance experience includes receiving a Silver Award at the Singapore Voice Competition and appearing as a mezzo-soprano at major venues such as Lincoln Center and Zellerbach Hall. Gracy’s compositional work has also been recognized by prestigious festivals, with selections at the San Diego Film Festival (2024) and the Catalina Film Festival (2025). In addition, she has served as a piano accompanist for NYU Music Theatre, gaining extensive practical experience in professional music productions.

With over six years of teaching experience since 2019, Gracy welcomes students of all ages and skill levels in Piano, Voice, Music Theory, and Composition. Her teaching approach emphasizes integrating solid technical training—such as exam preparation, sight-singing, ear training, instrumental technique, musical phrasing, formal analysis, and cultural context—into repertoire that aligns with each student’s interests and goals.
