A multi-instrumentalist, Ting Huang plays piano, oboe, and guitar. Born in Taiwan, Ting started her studying of piano at the age of five and oboe at age of eight.

At her home town, She performed at National Concert Hall regularly with Taipei Symphonic Winds Orchestra as an oboist. With a passion of working and helping people in need with music, she entered University of Missouri in Kansas City with scholarships to pursue a Master’s degree in Music Therapy. As a Board Certified Music Therapist (2010-2015), Ms. Huang worked with children and adults with disabilities, such as autism, Attention-Deficit Disorder, intellectual disability, and etc. After relocation to Los Angeles in 2009, she focused her career in piano education and continue providing music lessons to children and young adults with autism and visual impairments. As an experienced piano educator with nearly 10 years of teaching experiences, the students of Ms. Huang are winners of United States Open Music Competition (USOMC), The Southwestern Youth Music Festival (SYMF), The Diamond Bar Performing Arts Contest (DBPAC), Musical Arts Competition of Orange County, Fullerton College Piano Ensemble Festival, and are accepted into Orange County School of the Arts. When teaching young children, Ms. Huang loves telling fun stories in music to inspire and motivate them. However, she believes piano studying is like sports. Good technique with solid foundation is the key to beautiful piano playing. It is challenging yet exciting!
