Evie Huang

Evie Huang is originally from Kaoshung, Taiwan where she began studying music from the young age of 5. After received her Bachelor of Music degree in Taiwan majoring in piano and double bass, she was appointed principal Bass with Evergreen symphony orchestra.

She also worked with the Taipei symphony orchestra, Philharmonia Moment Musicaux in Taipei, Taiwan. She completed her Master of Music degree at Louisiana State University with full scholarship. After her masters she earned a Performance Diploma at the New England conservatory in Boston while studying with the assistant principal in Boston symphony orchestra. She performed as Principal and section bass with the Video Game Orchestra, the Atlantic Symphony Orchestra, operaHub orchestra and has been involved in many recordings with SoundtRec Recording Company and East Coast Scoring. She also frequently performs in Jorden hall and symphony hall in Boston. She has done recordings for different television shows, movies and video games, most notably is Final Fantasy XV. As a chamber musician, piano accompanist, she has worked with different instrumentalists such as cello, violin, trumpet and vocal, performed in many solo recitals and chamber concerts. She teaches all ages and levels of piano and string bass.
