Ms. Alyssa Clayton holds a Master of Music degree from CUNY Brooklyn College and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) in Vocal Performance at Claremont Graduate University. Her teaching journey has taken her around the world, including to the Philippines, where she taught piano, voice, music theory, and music history. She also teaches students in India via Zoom, providing personalized music instruction tailored to each student’s needs.
With over five years of experience in music education, Ms. Clayton currently teaches piano and voice at 88 Keys Music Academy, working with students of all ages and skill levels. Her teaching philosophy centers on fostering a deep love of music in each student by adapting lessons to their unique learning styles and abilities.
In addition to her work as an educator, Ms. Clayton has performed with the world-renowned Gracias Choir at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall, the United Palace Theater, the Fox Theater, and the Manhattan Center. Her extensive performance background, combined with her passion for teaching, enables her to offer a well-rounded and inspiring musical education to all of her students.
