Albert Kurniawan

Albert Kurniawan is a seasoned musician and educator with over nine years of experience teaching drums and guitar. A graduate of Pasadena City College with a focus in Music Performance, he later pursued studies in Commercial Music at California State University, Los Angeles. As a founding member of several nationally recognized bands, Albert’s work has been featured on platforms such as NPR, Showtime’s Queer As Folk, and MTV. He has toured internationally and collaborated with acclaimed artists, including members of Garbage, Death Cab for Cutie, and Aloe Blacc. In addition to performing, Albert has led clinics and workshops across the United States, sharing his expertise with aspiring musicians. His teaching combines real-world industry experience with a deep passion for mentoring the next generation of artists.
