For five years, Ashlee has taught private lessons to students ranging from 8-16 years old, through the Pasadena Conservatory of Music and Arcadia High School Tri-M Honor Society. She has also mentored many students through group sectionals and full orchestra rehearsals.

Ashlee enjoys helping her students blossom in their musical practices, and her teaching method sets the stage for free thinking, both creative and analytical, and includes stories, analogies, and games to teach musical concepts in a way that is fun and engaging for the student. As a compassionate and nurturing mentor, her focus is to not only develop students’ technical skills but to inspire in them a deep love and appreciation for music and help them employ music as an outlet of self-expression.
